Adelaide LETS

The Local Exchange Trading System (LETS) is a non-profit community organisation which enables its members to exchange goods and services with each other without using traditional currency.

Earn units doing things you enjoy, spend your units on things or services you need. One unit is equivalent to one dollar. We have a monthly market at Payneham, and have pop up markets at other locations throughout the year.

One Planet Market

Regular Market and Trading Day, held on every 3rd Saturday of the month.

374 Payneham Road, Payneham – 9am to 12pm (*10am to 1pm in Winter months) – held outdoors (weather permitting, otherwise held inside the community centre)

In addition to LETS market stalls, the One Planet Market also has a produce swap stall for fruit, veggies, seeds, and seedlings, along with a Freecycle swap table for good quality second hand goods.

The Repair Cafe is also open, and skilled volunteers will also be there from 9:30am, to help with electrical, electronic, mechanical and sewing repair jobs as well as tinkering of toys, glueing of household items, sharpening tasks and locksmith problems.

Hillier LETS Catch Up & Mini Market

Join us for the next Local Exchange Trading System (LETS) Get Together! It’s a relaxed, friendly event open to everyone, whether you’re a LETS member or not.

What’s On:

  • Mini Market: Browse a selection of locally made goods and unique or secondhand products.
  • Guest Speaker: Brett from Reset Body Therapy will talk about the Emmett Technique and its benefits for pain relief and muscle relaxation.
  • Door Prizes: Everyone who attends will get a free ticket for a chance to win a prize!

Not a LETS member? No problem! You can still enjoy the market, learn about LETS, and even shop with cash. It’s a great opportunity to connect with your community and discover new ways to trade and share.

Fleurieu LETS Monthly Market

Join our sister group for the November Fleurieu LETS Market at the Aldinga Institute Hall! They have space for more stalls and would love to welcome anyone looking to trade, sell, or offer services.

They’re seeking performers to create a lively atmosphere. LETS members can earn 30 Units per hour, and non-members will be offered free food.

  • If you’d like a stall or know someone who does, please get in touch.
  • The market is open to both members and non-members.
  • Come along to support the market and our community from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM!
